Why Not A Bentley?
Why not indeed.
So, I have just changed my trading up target from a Rolls Royce car to...
either a Rolls Royce car or a Bentley car.
And Trade 7 is still on course to take place on Sunday, February 4th.

Just Like That... Not Like That, Like That... (Trade 6 Part 1)
This is Tommy Cooper Rex, who also likes to be called T C Rex...
I tried to take him to Ireland on Friday, but when it came to trying to stuff him into a suitcase, well, he just wouldn't co-operate, wouldn't curl the end of his tail for me.
Maybe next time I'll try wrapping him in bubble wrap. When he's taking a nap might be a good idea.
You can make me a "bigger/better" offer for Tommy Cooper Rex if you like, even if it's just for fun, because I have already agreed to trade him on February 4th.
This cool metal creation was made by a guy called Sean. I handed over the painting "Lotus" for him, and Sean wants to also give me two more of his metal creatures in the near future as part of the same trade, both smaller than this one but still very cool.
Other news... I may well be moving away from the North West of England soon. Very soon. To where I don't yet know.
For now I need to find a good new job... I'm sure I'll have less time for this adventure in the near future.

No Snap
Trade 6 Part 1 did happen tonight, but...
Sean didn't want a picture of the trade taken. Which is fine by me. And then...
when I was set up to take a picture of Item T6_1 later on, the helpful message "Batteries Need Recharging" appeared on the screen. So that was good.
It'll keep.
Tomorrow, I plan to take Item T6_1 with me to... Ireland.
So, the Evelyn Kharag painting "Lotus" is in Sean's hands now.
Oh, and I have set myself a new target to trade up to... a Rolls Royce car!

Snap
Trade 6 Part 1 did not happen tonight, but...
soon-to-be menacing-looking Item T6_1 was snapped for the first time by a sharp and, to be fair, quite brave member of the Paparazzi...
Can you guess what it is yet?
So... Trade 6 Part 1 is now scheduled to take place probably this Thursday evening. Because Sean is a perfectionist, and that's the way he wants it, which is fine by me. And even if Sean was smaller than me, that would still be fine by me.
And yesterday I took a couple of snaps of RedBack in Limerick, Ireland.
Here she is looking across the River Shannon (Ireland's longest river) at King John's Castle...
And here she is sat on the wall outside someone's home...
More like dreaming on the wall maybe, because it was from this house Dolores McNamara set off for a drink on Friday July 31st, 2005. On the way she stopped at a shop and bought a Euromillions lottery ticket. Her numbers came up and she won 115,600,000 euros. Or there abouts.
Apparently Dolores has a new home now.

I'm In One Of My Moods
That's right, I'm in quite a chirpy mood right now - despite the weather being so horrible today! :oD
Sean, the guy making, hopefully, two metal creatures for trading nothing, called me to say the first one is on schedule to be ready this weekend. So, if all goes smoothly, which of course it will, hopefully, though you never can be quite sure... if all goes smoothly, Part 1 of Trade 6 will happen on Monday evening.
Yes, you heard right - Trade 6 will probably take place in two parts, but more about that later...
And now for a major announcement...
I've decided I want 2007 to be a big year for this trading nothing thing, so that's where I going to put my energy. Lately I have been concentrating on building The Million Dollar Animated Web Page, and I am hoping that will progress along too with a little "word of mouth" power, because I want to see it come to life.
But now I'm back on the trading nothing case. Big time.
Wow, they don't come much more major than that, do they?

I Take My Imaginary Hat Off...
...to Mr. Pete Genders!
Pete sent me an email yesterday asking how I was doing, and also telling me his latest news - that he has achieved his goal of trading a bottle of beer for... a VW campervan!
Read all about it in Pete's "Lincoln GrALE" blog, or maybe even in your newspaper today if you are in the UK. Or maybe you saw Pete on TV news this evening... yup, it's a news story alright!
I might even take RedBack to open a bottle of beer in Lincoln sometime, who knows...
