Speedy is no longer up for a trade. In fact, he is no longer with us. I never owned or even met Speedy, and I'm not sure we would have ever traded him, although I did receive some excellent offers... but this llama somehow put a smile on lots of faces anyway. Thanks Speedy, RIP.
Now Up For A Trade: Item SPEEDY_THE_LLAMA

Introducing Speedy, a one year old male llama who lives on a farm somewhere near Mount Horeb, near Madison WI (Wisconsin), USA.
I do not own Speedy at this time - it simply doesn't make sense for me to transport him to the UK. eg. just for starters, he would need to endure six months in quarantine...
So, the plan is: I trade something for Speedy, then immediately after that (like, five minutes later) I trade Speedy for something(s) bigger/better.
I just need to line up the second trade, and have something ready to swap for Speedy for the first trade, then I can go to Mount Horeb and do the two trades in one go without me having to physically move Speedy.
I'll tell you what else I know about Speedy, or at least what current owner Sean has told me about Speedy (I'll mostly quote Sean word for word)...
- "Could do work as a flock guardian, protecting sheep from canine predators."
- "He’s from sought after bloodlines -- sire is Tuna Catcher, dam is Flo Jo. Here are google results for Tuna. Tuna lives here, which is also where Flo Jo was produced – we bought her from that farm bred to Tuna." (apologies if not all the google results are relevant, I haven't looked at them all...)
- also..."His sire, Tuna Catcher, is an exceptionally well-decorated show llama"
- "He is intact (i.e., Big Jim and the Twins are still hanging around)"
- "He has very nice fiber quality"
- also, "Llamas should not be solitary, but they don’t have to live with other llamas. Speedy is currently boarding with a sheep and a goat."
And please note, Speedy could be delivered to his new home by Sean "for a fee that would cover the expense of delivery", the other alternative is the new owner would have to collect.
Please note: I'll always do my best to keep this page right up-to-date, but there will always be the possibility of a lag between a trade of an item on this page being made, and this page being updated - thank you!
