I got this item in Trade 4.
"The lotus flower is a spiritual symbol, born in the material world though it comes from the spiritual. Perfect in form, it is untouched by the impurities of the mud and water. It exists without attachment to the dirty water that it's surrounded by. Its almond-shaped petals point to a higher state of consciousness while its roots are connected to the earth.”

This is "Lotus", an original painting by gifted UK-based artist Evelyn Kharag.
Materials: acrylic, oil, collage on canvas.
Approximate Dimensions: 40 cm wide, 30 cm high.
Although still, I believe, in her early years as an artist, Evelyn has already very much made her mark in the world of art. She has exhibited and sold work to collectors in France, Spain, Italy, Germany, USA and of course in her home country, the UK.
And she has a strong belief she will do great work in the future.
Evelyn uses acrylics, oils and inks, as well as found materials to make beautiful, vibrant artworks. For Evelyn the material itself has become a source of inspiration; speaking its own language and possessing its own ability to interpret expressions, allowing unconscious images to emerge organically.
