Now Up For A Trade: Item T5_1
I got this item from Sarah in Trade 5.
This item was traded on to Kyle in Trade 11 and so is no longer up for a trade - sorry!

This fine bottle opener has had a busy working life - "day and night" and with "a lot of sweat" - on the Ionian island of Zakinthos in Greece, where previous owner Spiros Gouskos used it from 2002 to 2004 to open countless bottles whilst working as a bartender in the Dionisos Restaurant in the village of Alykanas, a popular destination for jet-setting sun-seekers.
Of course I can't verify the history of this item as told to me by Spiros, but I have no reason to disbelieve him - I think he's a really decent guy!
Imagine all the good times this bottle opener has witnessed, all the stories...
After receiving it from Spiros in Trade 1, I traded this item with Sarah Walmsley, who gave her the name "RedBack" and took her "on tour" to Boston and New York City, for two of her Cool Liquid glassware pieces. And now, through Trade 5, RedBack has returned to be up for a trade again!
I offer this item unwashed and unpolished. And I think you will agree this item is versatile: it could be used as a paperweight for example, and would not look out of place in a display cabinet. And of course it still functions beautifully as a bottle opener.
This item was traded on in Trade 11 and so is no longer up for a trade - sorry!
Please note: I'll always do my best to keep this page right up-to-date, but there will always be the possibility of a lag between a trade of an item on this page being made, and this page being updated - thank you!
